Howorth, Frederick 1883 - 1962

Frederick Howorth was born in Padiham, Lancashire, England on 3 November 1883 and was articled to Sames & Green in Blackburn and Darwen, Lancashire. In 1910 he established his own independent architectural practice in Preston, Lancashire.  He was admitted a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1925. He was also a member of the Preston Society of Architects and President of the Preston, Blackburn and District Society of Architects in the late 1930s.

His address was given as 6, Cannon Street, Preston and "Aysgarth", Leyland, Lancashire in 1914 and 10 Theatre Street, Preston in 1939.  He died at 18 Lancaster Lane, Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire on 11 December 1962
