Hughes, Clifford Gibson 1926 - 2003

Clifford Gibson Hughes [also known as Clifford G. Hughes and as Clifford Hughes] was born on 23 June 1926 and practised as an architect in the UK from the 1940s onwards.  A house in Virginia Water, Surrey, England designed by architect him for Mr and Mrs David Williams is discussed in 'Decorative Art' 1958-59 (p.10). The house designed for himself in Crowthorne, Berkshire was also the subject of an article in 'Ideal Home' August 1962 (pp.15-25). 

Hughes was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA). He died on 8 February 2003. His address at the time of his death was Gable Cottage, Chequers Lane, Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey.
