Huxley, Walter F. c. 1851 - 1929

Walter F. Huxley was born in Pentonville, London, England in c.1851. Nothing is known about his training as an architect. He was active in the profession in London from the 1870s. In 1874 he formed a partnership with Thomas Batterbury (1847?-1922) in London as Batterbury & Huxley. Most of the work by the practice consisted in the design of residential properties in London.  It is not known when the partnership was dissolved, however Batterbury formed a new partnership in 1901.  Huxley died on 16 April 1929
