Johnson, Thomas Henry c. 1872 - 1937

Thomas Henry Johnson [also known as T. H. Johnson] was born in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England in c.1872. Nothing is known about his training as an architect. His occupation was given as land agent and surveyor in the 1901 and architect and surveyor in the 1911 England Census. In the early 1920s, with his son, Henry Arthur Johnson (1903-?), who had studied at the Bartlett School of Architect, University College, London, he established the architectural firm T. H. Johnson & Son in Wadsworth, Doncaster.  

His address was given as Oakwood, Avenue Road, Doncaster in 1911.   He died in Doncaster on 25 October 1937.  T. H. Johnson & Son continued with the name unchanged until well after his death and was finally dissolved in c.1996.
