Jones, Frank John 1869 - 1937

Frank John Jones [also known as Frank J. Jones] was born in Dutton, Cheshire, England, in 1869. After training with John Douglas (1830-1911) and Daniel Porter Fordham (1846-1899) of Douglas & Fordham in Chester, Cheshire for six years, he was articled to Charles Linaker and Samuel Davies of Linaker & Davies in Frodsham, Cheshire.  In 1902 he commenced independent practice in Frodsham and Runcorn, Cheshire.

Jones was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and was admitted a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1925. His address was given as Bank Chambers, Runcorn, and 118, Greenway Road, Runcorn in 1914;  Commercial Buildings, High Street Runcirn, Cheshire in 1927 and 1933; and The Croft, Fluin Lane, Frosham, Cheshire in 1937.  He died on 15 August 1937
