Jones, Robert Cadwaladr 1880 - 1935

Robert Cadwaladr Jones [also known as R. C. Jones] was born in Festiniog, Merionethshire, Wales in 1880. After working in the office of J. S. Fowler, he was articled  to Joseph Owen (c.1867-1921) in Menai Bridge, Wales from 1896 to 1899. He worked as an assistant in the London County Council Architects' Department, Housing Division for two years during which time he studied at Regent Street Polytechnic in London. He established his own independent architectural practice in Blaenau Festiniog, Wales in 1903. He was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1911.

His address was given as Caerblaidd Offices, Blaenau Festiniog, Wales; 10, Church Street, Blaenau Festiniog in 1911 and 1914; Caerblaidd Offices, Blaenau Festiniog, Wales in 1933; and Llys Dorfil, The Square, Blaenau Festiniog in 1935. He died in Llandudno, Wales on 22 August 1935.
