Kettle, Alan 1879 - 1947

Alan Kettle was born in Chertsey, Surrey, England on 29 December 1879.   His occupation was given as Architectural Draughtsman in the 1911 England and Wales Census. It is not known where or with whom he trained.  By the early 1920s he was practising as an architect in Streatham Hill, London. He submitted a design for a bungalow in the Daily Mail Architects Competition for Labour-Saving Bungalows in 1922.

His address was given as 124 Peckham Rye, Camberwell, London in 1911; 70, Cricklade Avenue, Streatham Hill, London in 1922;  and 9 Russell Road, Kensington, London in 1939.  He died in Wandsworth, London in 1947
