Lay, Arthur Purcell 1896 - 1958

Arthur Purcell Lay was born in St. Pancras, London on 18 November 1896.  It is not know where and with whom he trained.  By the early 1920s he was in practice in London and in the late 1920s was in partnership with W. Kidd as A.P. Lay and W. Kidd.

Lay was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1933. His address was given as 3 Dean's Yard, Westminster, London in 1923 and 1939.  He died in Winchester, Hampshire on 26 August 1958
