Leeson, Everard William 1862 - 1915

Everard William Leeson was born in Stayleybridge, Lancashire, England on 22 September 1862 and was articled to W. H. Cooke in Oldham, Lancashire from 1878 to 1883.   He also attended Oldham School of Art.  After leaving Cooke he worked as an assistant to Charles Henry Heathcote (1850-1938) in Manchester from 1884 to 1886, and to Wild, Collins & Wild in Oldham from 1886 to 1888.

Leeson commenced independent practice in Manchester in 1888.  He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1910. He was awarded the R.I.B.A. Tite Prize in 1885. His address was given as 49, Princess Street, Manchester (business) and Hope Road, Prestwich, Manchester (home) in 1910 and 1914.  He died at his home on 25 February 1915.
