Lindo, Harold Walter Eustace 1900 - 1975

Harold Walter Eustace Lindo was born in Paddington. London, England in 1900, the son of Eustace Almosnino Lindo (1857-1931) a stockbroker who had been born in Kingston, Jamaica, and Frances Lindo (1861-1944).

It is not known where or with whom he trained as an architect.  By 1927 he had qualified and subsequently practised as an architect in London.  During the 1930s he was associated with the architectural firm M. E. & O. Collins.

Lindo was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1927, and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1938.

His address was given as 120a Westbourne Terrace, Bayswater, London in 1918; 102 Inverness Terrace, Hyde Park, London in 1928 and 1935; and 37 Panton Street, Haymarket, London in 1939. By the early 1970s Lindo had moved to Portugal and in 1975 his address was given as Casa Rio, Tinto Praia Do, Carvoeiro, Portugal. He died in Portugal on 26 March 1975
