Manchip, Herbert John c. 1877 - 1938

Herbert John Manchip was born in Bridgwater, Somerset, England in c. 1877. By 1911 he had moved to Muswell Hill, London where practised as an architect. Drawings and plans of a house designed by him are illustrated in Designs for One Hundred Ideal £1,000 Houses. Being copies of the hundred best designs entered in the 1912 Daily Mail Architects' Competition (1912 p.73).   His address was given as 49 Windermere Road, Muswell Hill, London in 1911 and 1930. He died in Edmonton, Middlesex, England 5 May 1938
