Mark, Henry James 1866 - 1952

Henry James Mark was born in Teddington, Middlesex, England on 4 January 1866. Nothing is known about his training as an architect. He was admitted a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1925

Capel Gardens a residential block in Pinner, Pinner Road, Middlesex designed by Mark in 1936 is described in Flats: Municipal and Private Enterprise. London: Ascot Gas Water Heaters Ltd., 1938 pp. 182-187

His address was given as 25  Mason's Avenue, Wealdstone, Harrow, Middlesex in 1911;
44 Mason's Avenue, Wealdstone, Harrow, Middlesex; and 63 Mason's Avenue, Wealdstone, Harrow, Middlesex in 1939. He died in Ealing, Middlesex in 1952
