Frank Norman Denison Masters [also known asa Frank N. D. Masters, and as Captain Frank Norman Denison Masters] was born in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England on 11 June 1882. After studying at Magdalen College, Oxford from 1899 to 1903, he was articled to Thomas James Flockton (1825-1899) and Edward Mitchel Gibbs (1847-1935) of Gibbs & Flockton in Sheffield, Yotkshire from 1905 to 1907. He established his own independent architectural practice in Doncaster in 1906 and was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1912.
During World War One he served in the Royal Flying Corps. His address was given as Bank Chambers, Scot Lane, Doncaster, and St. Vincent, Doncaster in 1912 and 1914; 55, Queensborough Terrace, Hyde Park, London 1n 1923; and 128 Piccadilly, London in 1926 and 1935. He died in Torbay, Devon, England in 1973
