Parker, John Herbert 1893 - 1957

John Herbert Parker was born in Whiby, Yorkshire, England on 26 November 1893.  By the early 1920s he had qualified as an architect, however, it is not known where or with whom he trained. In 1925 he was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA).

A design for a house by him was entered in The "Daily Mail" Ideal Houses Competition for Architects, 1927.

His address was given as address Victoria Hotel, 32 Queen Street, Exeter, Devon in 1911.  Whitcote, Grimsdyke Crescent, Barnet, Hertfordshire in 1927 and 1935; and Mill Cottage, Ridge, near Barnet Hertfordshire 1939 and 1957.  He died on 17 March 1957
