Guy Pemberton was born in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England in 1 August 1883 and was articled to Ftrank Barlow Osborn (1840-1907) in Birmingham. He worked as an assistant to Arthur William Blomfield (1829-1899), Charles James Blomfield (1862-1932) and Arthur Conran Blomfield (1863-1935) of Sir Arthur Blomfield & Sons.
Pemberton commenced practice as an architect in Birmingham, England in 1906 and was in partnership with John White (1880-?) from 1907. He was Surveyor for the Diocese of Warwickshire. He worked on projects with Frederick Landseer Griggs (1876-1938) and Edward Guy Dawber (1861-1938). It is not known if he was in formal partnership with them.
He was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1911 and was admitted a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1925.
His address was given as 40 Bennett's Hill, Birmingham in 1911 and 1923; 20 Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire and Pyeford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire in 1914; 120 Edmund Street, Birmingham in 1926 and 1930; 20a Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire and Belle Vue Mansions, Great Malvern, Worcestershire in 1930; 33 College Street, Worcester, and Guild Cottage, Campden, Gloucestershire in 1935 and 1939. He died in Evesham Worcestershire 6 March 1959.
