Pidsley, Frank Morley 1893 - 1968

Frank Morley Pidsley [also known as F. M. Pidsley] was born in Exeter, Devon, England on 1 August 1893.  In the 1911 England and Wales Census, aged 17, his occupation is given as Architect Student, however, it is not known where or with whom he received his training.  By the early 1920s he was practising as an architect in Hertfordshire  and in 1925 was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA).

Designs for houses by him are illustrated in 'Houses (with 3 and 4 Bedrooms, etc.). A selection from the Designs sent in for The Builder Cost of Building Competition' (London: "The Builder", 1923) pp. 9, 27.

His address was given as 50, London Road, Baldock in 1925; "Elmwood", Norton Way North, Letchworth in 1926 and 1933; 11 Brook Street, Stotfold, Bedfordshire in 1935; Gwyndaf Dolycoed, Burry Port, Carmarthenshire, Wales in 1939; 9 Hill Crest, Bexley, Kent in 1945; 210  Bedford Hill, Balham, London in 1949; and 98 Bedford Hill, Balham, London in 1951.

In the 1939 his occupation his occupation was given as Architectural Assistant H.M. Office off Works 

He died in Shipham, Somerset on 3 April 1968.
