Poole, Ralph Stannard 1921 - 2007

Ralph Stannard Poole [also known as R.S. Poole] was born in Halstead, Essex, England on on 5 May 1921. It is not known where he trained as an architect. In the 1939 England and Wales Register his occupation was given as Builder's Estimating Clerk. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1948.

Poole collaborated with the architect Edmund Douglas Jefferiss Mathews (1907-1992) and was an associate partner in the design of the Technical Service and Development Laboratories at Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire in 1956.  

Poole lived in Queen's Road, Halstead, Essex in 1939. He died in 2007. His death was registered in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.  At the time of his death his residence was Sudbury, Suffolk.
