Ransom, Geoffrey Frederick 1913 - 1990

Geoffrey Frederick Ransom was born in Holt, Norfolk, England on 21 February 1913.  Nothing is known about where or with whom he trained as an architect.  He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1936.  By the late 1930s he was in partnership with Frederic Edward Towndrow (1897-?) in the architectural firm Towndrow & Ransom.  They had an office at 54 Bloomsbury Street, London.

Ransom died in Tunbridge Wells, Kent in 1990
