Rathbone, Edmund 1863 - 1924

Edmund Rathbone was born in Toxteth, Liverpool, England in 1863.  He practised as an architect from about 1891. He also designed ceramics for Della Robbia Pottery which had been founded by his brother, Harold Rathbone in 1894.  Between 1891-1914 he exhibited at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool; and at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh.  He was a member of  the Century Guild and their representative in Liverpool.

He lived in Edinburgh in 1891; and in Liverpool in 1894. He died in Steyning, Sussex on 3 April 1924
