Richards, Edwin William Gruffydd 1880 - 1930

Edwin William Gruyffdd Richards was born in Llanover, Monmouthshire, Wales in 1880. In the 1901 England, Wales & Scotland Census he gave Architect as his occupation, however, it is not known where he received his training.  He was active as an architect in Merthyr Tydil, Wales and was probably the partner of Edwin Arthur Johnson (1855-1914) in the Merthyr Tydil architectural practice Johnson & Richards.

Richards was admitted an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1925. He died in Ipswich, Suffolk in 1930
