Roberts, Richard Lewis 1864 - 1927

Richard Lewis Roberts was born in Bala, Merionethshire, Wales on 9 June 1864 and was articled to E. Bremer Smith in Oswestry, Shropshire, England. He subsequently commenced practice as an architect in Abercarn in 1895.  He was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA). His address was given as Little Oak Villa, Rogerstone, Monmouthshire in 1914; and The Firs, West End, Abercarn in 1914 and 1923.  He died in Islington, London on 5 June 1927

Several in Monmouthshire; three workmen's institutes at Crosskeys, Cwmfelnifach and Newbridge, Monmouthshire;  chapels at Blackwood, Newbridge. Pontlianfraith, Cwmcarn, Six Bells, and Maesycwmmer, Monmouthshire.
