Robinson, Thomas Henson 1877 - 1953

Thomas Henson Robinson [also known as T. Henson Robinson] was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England in 1877 and was articled to Thomas James Flockton (1825-1899) and Edward Michael Gibbs (1847?-1935) from 1894 to 1899, He then worked as an assistant to James E. Knight in Rotherham; to Francis Eldred Lodge Harris (1864-1924); in the War Department; and in London County Council's Architects' Department Housing Division. He qualified as an architect in 1903 and subsequently established a practice in Sheffield.   He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1904 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1939. He died in Sheffield on 10 February 1953
