Stubbs, Edwin James 1869 - 1918

Edwin James Stubbs was born in Marylebone, London, England on 26 December 1869 and was articled to Robert James Worley (1850-1930) in London. He also attended classes at the Architectural Association in London.  He commenced independent practice as an architect vin London in 1894.

He designed Royal Horticultural Society Old Hall in London in 1904.  Ashley Gardens, a large residential building in Westminster, London, designed by Stubbs is is discussed in Residential Flats of All Classes, Including Artisans' Dwellings by Sydney Perks (1905 pp. 124-126). Stubbs died in Marylebone, London in 1918
