Thomson, Stewart Lloyd 1902 - 1990

Stewart Lloyd Thomson was born in Tasmania, Australia on 25 November 1902. By the early 1920s he had moved to England and was living in London. In 1925 he was appointed chief designer to the Southern Railways Company in London. In 1929 he formed a short-lived partnership with Amyas Connell (1901-1980) and had an office in London.  

Thomson was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1928.  His address was given as 42 Kensington Mansions, London in 1939.  He died in Ashburton, Devon on 28 September 1990
