Turner, Edward 1847 - 1937

Edward Turner was born in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire in 1847 and was articled to Sir George Gilbert Scott (1811-1878) in London. He also attended Kensington School of Art in London. He commenced independent practice as an architect in Leicester in 1879.  His address was given as 31 Evington St, Leicester and Bowling Green St., Leicester in 1881; 73 Sunnycroft Clarendon Park Road Leicester in 1911; and 54, Gallowtree Gate, Leicester and 73. Clarendon Park Road, Leicester in 1914 and 1937.  He died on 19 January 1937
