Vernon, George 1870 - 1942

George Vernon was born in Chelsea, Middlesex [now London], England on 5 September 1870.  It is not known with whom he trained as an architect.   He was in practice in London from the 1890s. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1918 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1939.

His address was given as "The Knoll", 38 West End Avenue, Pinner, Middlesex in 1911 and 1942;  22 Conduit Street, London in 1923 and 1926; 19 Russell Square, London in 1930; and 9 Seymour Street, London in 1935 and 1939. He died at "The Knoll", 38 West End Avenue, Pinner, Middlesex on 18 February 1942
