Walker, Percy 1880 - 1923

Percy Walker was born in Quarlton, Lancashire, England on 19 January 1880 and was articled to James Parkinson from 1897 to 1901. He also attended Stenton Technical College.  He commenced independent practice and 1902. In 1908 he submitted an entry in a competition to design the Church of St, Thomas in Ashfield, Wavertree, Lancashire. His designs are illustrated in British Competitions in Architecture vol. 2, no. 16, April 1908 (pp. 138-140)

Walker was admitted a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA). His address was given as Gransmoor Avenue, Higher Openshaw, Lancashire in 1910 and 1922; and Ashton, Old Road, Higher Openshaw in 1910 and 1922.  He died in 1923
