Alan Cyril Watkins was born in Harlesden, Middlesex, England on 21 May 1903. In the 1939 National Register his occupation was given as Registered Architect, however, it is not known where or with whom he trained. A design for a house by him was entered in The "Daily Mail" Ideal Houses Competition for Architects, 1927.
His address was given as Nizza, Harlesden Road, Willesden, London in 1911; The Brambles, Uphill Road, Mill Hill, London in 1927; 16, Fleet Street, Holborn, London in 1939. He died in Surrey in 1982
