Watt, Robert Graeme c. 1848 - c. 1915

Robert Graeme Watt [also known as Robert Graeme-Watt] was born in Scotland in 1848 or 1849 and trained as an engineer. By 1873 he had moved to Belfast, Ireland where he was working as an architect.  From c.1875 to c.1883 he was in partnership with James Otway of Waterford. They are known to have designed at least two houses. In November 1895 he formed a partnership, Graeme Watt & Tulloch [also known as Graeme-Watt & Tulloch] with Frederick Henry Tulloch (1863-1953).  When in 1909 Nicholas Hartley became a partner in the business, the name of the firm was changed to Watt Tullock & Fitzgerald. Watt is thought to have either died or retired in 1915.
