Waymouth, George 1845 - 1923

George Waymouth was born in Islington, London, England in 1845.  He was articled to James Tillott (c.1850-?) and Thomas Chamberlain from 1862 to 1865 and briefly remained with them as their assistant. He was also employed as an assistant by the Northampton & Banbury Junction Railway in 1866-67 and to his father, William Waymouth (1804–1888), in London from 1867 to 1870. From 1870 he was in partnership with his father.

George Waymouth was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1885.  His address was given as 13 Moorgate Street, London in 1870 and 1904; Raymond House, Theobald's Road, Gray's Inn, London in 1910 and 1923; Banksmere, Regent's Park Road, Finchley, London in 1914; and Glengriff, King Edward Road, New Barnet, Middlesex in 1923. He died in East Barnet, Middlesex on 24 March 1923.
