Albert Charles Williams was born in Epsom, Surrey, England on 15 September 1872 and was articled to Christopher Mitchell Shiner (1857-1944) in London from 1887 to 1890. He also attended classes at the Architectural Association Schools in London. He worked as an assistant to Robert Langton Cole (1858-1928) from 1890 to 1892 and to Lewis Solomon (1848-1928). He commenced independent practice in 1902 and was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1911.
His address was given as High Street, Epsom, Surrey in 1881; "Bohemia", South Street, Epsom, Surrey in 1891; Bramlingham, Church Street, Epsom, Surrey in 1901 and 1926; Byrnnesmede, Bridge Road, Epsom, Surrey in 1911; 53, Doughty Street, London and East Hill House. Epsom, Surrey in 1914. He died in Epsom, Surrey on 30 March 1928
