Wright, Alec Thomas 1898 - 1978

Alec Thomas Wright was born Eric Thomas Wright in Heigham, Norfolk, England on 16 January 1898 and active as an architect in Norwich, Norfolk, England from the 1930s to the 1950s.  He was in partnership with Robert George Mason, a surveyor, in the architectural practice Wright & Mason in Norwich. An office building designed by Wright & Mason for The Raymond King Organisation is discussed in 'Art and Industry' January 1952 (pp.22-23). They also designed St. Thomas church in Norfolk (consecrated in 1952).  The partnership was dissolved in 1954. Wright was an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA).  His address was given as The Truthel, Smallburgh, Norfolk in 1939. Wright died in Boston, Lincolnshire on 28 July 1978.
