Adams (Maurice) Ltd.

Maurice Adams Ltd. was a furniture manufacturing company founded in London, England by the architect Maurice Spencer Rowe Adams (1887-1941). The company produced furniture in a style that was a cross between Art Deco and Georgian, all designed by Adams himself.  He produced a treatise, on furniture and interior design, Modern Decorative Art (1930), which includes 200 examples of his designs for furniture, lighting, ornamental features and interiors.  The firm was active in the 1920s and 1930s
