Adie, Button & Partners was an architectural firm established in London, England in c.1936 by George Mountford Adie (1901-1989) and Frederick Charles Button (1901-1969). Adie had begun his career as a stockbroker before switching to architecture, Although he appears to have received little, if any, training in the profession, he practised as an architect from 1920s, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects FRIBA) in 1943, Button did, however, train as an architect. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1925 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1942
Architectural projects by the Adie, Button & Partners included 59-63 Princes Gate, South Kensington, London (1937-38); Charters House in Sunningdale, Berkshire (1938); and Stockwell Garage, a Grade II* bus garage in Stockwell, London (completed in 1952).
