Casson Conder Partnership 1956 - ?

Casson Conder Partnership [also known as Casson Conder & Partners] was formed in London, England in 1956 by Hugh Casson (1910-1999) and Hugh Neville Conder (1922-2003) together with Ronald Green and Michael Cain. Prior to the establishment of the Casson Conder Partnership, Casson and Conder had worked in partnership since 1946.

Architectural projects by Casson and Conder and the Casson Conder Partnership has included the United Kingdom Pavilion at the Van Riebeeck Festival Fair in Cape Town, South Africa (1952); Arts Faculty buildings on the Sidgwick site at Cambridge University (1952-59); entrance and central suspended light feature for the British Industries Fair at Earls Court London (1953); flats at Melrose Terrace, Hammersmith, London (1954); Fig Tree Cottage, Kensington, London (1954); the Staff House and Refectory building at Birmingham University (1962); headquarters for the General Dental Council in London (1946); the Elephant and Rhinoceros Pavilion at London Zoo (1963); the National Westminster Bank in Manchester (1965); Derby Civic Centre (1971-76); a weir below Poultney Bridge in Bath (1972); the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon (1975); and the Ismaili Centre in London (1980-83).
