A. E. Cogswell & Sons was an architectural partnership formed in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England in the early 1920s by Arthur Edward Cogswell (1858-1934) and his sons Victor Gordon Cogswell (1891-1969) and Douglas Rupert Cogswell (1893-1979), Following the death of their father in 1934, the two sons continued the practice with the title unchanged

Cogswell & Sons: Estate developments in Portsmouth, between 1880 and 1923; two churches and church alterations and restorations, St. Mark's and All Saints', 1914-15; seven public elementary schools In Portsmouth, 1880-1912; extensive alterations and additions at the Workhouse Infirmary, 1908; Portsmouth Asylum and Portsmouth Hospital, 1921-22; numerous residences; thirty-seven new public houses in Portsmouth ; over 300 alterations to licensed premises; and much brewery work, 1885- 1923.
