Davidson & Murphy [also known as W. Davidson & Bailey S. Murphy] appears to have been a short-lived partnership formed in Edinburgh, Scotland in c.1907 between William Davidson (1875-1934) and Bailey Scott Murphy (1876-1914). In 1907 they submitted an entry for a competition to design buildings for the Scottish National Exhibition held in Edinburgh in 1908. Their designs are illustrated in British Competitions in Architecture vol. 2, no. 14, December 1907 (pp. 60-63).
It is possible that Davidson & Murphy was not a formal partnership but was formed specifically for this project and that they didn't design anything else.
