Newman & Jacques ? - 1939

Newman & Jacques was an architectural partnership formed by John Thomas Newman (1831-1896) and William Jacques (1854-1919), his onetime assistant, in London, England in the late 1870s or early 1880s.  Following the death of Newman in 1896, Jacques' brother, John Henry Jacques (1868-1939), who had been articled to Newman, became a partner in the practice which retained its original name until it was dissolved in 1939.
