Ashworth, Thomas Arnold c. 1855 - ?

Thomas Arnold Ashworth [also known as T. Arnold Ashworth] was born in Salford, Lancashire, England in c.1855. In the 1891 England Census his occupation is given as General Decorator's Manager and his address as 1208 Chester Road, Stratford, Lancashire. In the 1900 edition of Gore´s Directory of Liverpool & Birkenhead he listed as an architect and designer living at The Elms Roby Road, Roby, Lancashire with an office at 14 Castle Street, Liverpool. Nothing is known about his training as an architect.

In the 1901 England Census his occupation is given as Architect and the occupation of both his sons, Bertram Ashworth (aged 18) and Ronald Comer Ashworth (aged 15), is given as Architectural Pupil. By 1920 he had formed a partnership with his sons as T. Arnold Ashworth & Sons with offices in Liverpool.
