Barnett, Percy William 1895 - 1933

Percy William Barnett

Percy William Barnett was born in Enfield, Middlesex, England on 15 November 1895 and trained as an architect at Northern Polytechnic Institute in London; and at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College, London. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1921. By 1922 he was in partnership with Terence Stanley Crathern Feltham (1896-1971) Their office was located at 10, Clifton Road, Crouch, London.  A bungalow they designed was submitted in the Daily Mail Architects Competition for Labour-Saving Bungalows in 1922.  The partnership appears to have been short-lived as by 1926 Barnett had been appointed Chief Assistant, Building Research Station, Dept. of Scientific and Industrial Research in East Acton.

Address: Building Research Station, Long Drive. East Acton, London in 1926; 13 Lavinia Avenue, Garston, Watford, Hertfordshire in 1930; and Oakfield, 12a Lavinia Avenue, Garston, Watford, Hertfordshire in 1934. He died in Watford, Hertfordshire on 2 February 1933
