Brazier, Frederick Henry 1884 - 1967

Frederick Henry Brazier was born in Windsor, Berkshire, England in July 1884 and was articled to Stephen Mogg Wyborn from 1899 to 1903. He also attended Windsor and Eton School of Art; Brkbeck College, University of London; Richmond School of Art; and Manchester School of Art and Technology.  He was employed as an assistant to Francis (Frank) Saxon Snell (1887-1916) in 1903-04; to Howard Goadley from 1905 to 1907; and to Thomas Blagburn in 1907.  He qualified as an architect in 1909 and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) later that year.  He commenced independent practice as an architect in Altringham, Cheshire in 1911. He was active as an architect in Altringham until at least the late 1930s.  He died in Liverpool North, Lancashire, England, in September 1967.
