Ledgard, William Armitage 1889 - 1963

William Armitage Ledgard [also known as W. A. Ledgard] was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England non 14 March 1889. His training as an architect is unknown. In 1919 he joined Sydney Decimus Kitson (1871-1937) and James Parish (1875-1933) in their practice in Leeds. The practice became Kitson, Parish, Ledgard & Pyman in 1929 when Noel Pyman (1904-1970) joined the partnership.

Ledgard was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1931. His address was given as Sandy Lodge Roundhay Park Lane Moortown, Leeds in 1931 and 1963. He died in Leeds on 21 November 1963
