Frank Loughborough Pearson [also known as Frank L. Pearson] was born in Marylebone, Middlesex [now London], England on 14 January 1864. He was articled to his father, John Loughborough Pearson (1817-1897) in London from from 1881 and in 1890 joined him in partnership.
Frank Loughborough Pearson was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1900.
His address was given as 12 Mansfield Street, London (1900); 22 Aahley Place, Westminster, London in 1914 and 1926; 29 Courtfield Road, London in 1930 and 1939. He died in Kensington, London, England on 8 October 1947.

Following the death of his father in 1897, he continued his practice and completed a number of his commissions including Truro Cathedral and a number of churches. His own work included the chancel and aisle of St. Alban the Martyr in Middlesborough, Yorkshire (1902); chancel and chapel, Wakefield Cathedral (1904); St. Matthew, Auckland, New Zealand (1904); the Convent School of St. Nicholas and St. Helen's church in Abingdon, Berkshire (1904); chancel, St. Augustine's church in Rugeley, Staffordshire (1905); premises for the music publishers Novello in Wardour Street, London (1908); farm buildings at Hever Castle in Kent (1908); South African War Memorial at Winchester College in Winchester, Hampshire (1909); the Memorial Fountain at the Children's Hospital, Great Ormond Street, London (1910).
