Procter, Edward 1881 - 1965

Edward Procter [also known (incorrectly) as Edward Proctor] was born in the City of London, England on 28 June 1881. He was articled to the architect George Baines (1852-1934) from 1899 to 1902 and remained with him for a further year as his assistant. He then worked for six months at the engineering firm Bakers, and then in the surveyors' office of Ind Coope & Co. He worked as an independent architect in London from 1903 and was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1911. He was also a Member of the Society of Architects MSA).

His address was given as 102 Tressillian Road, Brockley, London in 1911; 83, St. Paul's Churchyard, London, E.C. 1914, in and 1926; and 30 Morden Road, Greenwich, London in 1939 and 1965. He died on 8 January 1965
