Wolstan Vyvyan Trubshawe was born in Richmond, Surrey, England on 25 July 1893. Nothing is known about his training as an architect. In the late 1920s he was a partner with Walter Robert Fitzgibbon Fisher (1898-1979) and (?) Fisher [1] the London-based practice Fisher, Trubshawe & Fisher. By the late 1930s, one of the Fishers was no longer a partner in the firm which was by then known as Fisher & Trubshawe with Walter Robert Fitzgibbon Fisher as the senior partner.
Trubshawe was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1928 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1939.
Trubshawe's address was given as 14 Turner Drive, London in 1930; 4 Ridgmount Street, London in 1939; and Meadowside, Longton Road, Barlston, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire in 1981. He died in Richmond upon Thames. London on 10 March 1981
