Weller, John 1830 - 1905

John Weller was born in Wall Heath, Dudley, Staffordshire, England in 1830.  Nothing is known about his training as an architect. In the 1881 England Census he gave his occupation as "Architect and Surveyor". He had had a practice in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and was subsequently in partnership with his sons, John Harrison Weller (1874–1921) and William Johnson Harrison Weller (1877–1960) as John Weller & Sons.

John Weller was Architect to the Wolverhampton & District Permanent Building Society. His address was given as 33 Stockwell End, Tettenhall, Staffordshire in 1881; 97 Newhampton Road, Wolverhampton in 1891 and Fernwood, Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton in 1901. He died in Wolverhampton in 1905
