Armstrong & Gardner

Armstrong & Gardner was an architectural partnership formed by Charles Montague Cecil Armstrong (1874-1959) and Alfred Herbert Gardner.  They were active in the 1930s and had offices at 39 High Street, Warwick, Warwickshire and 16 Priory Row, Coventry, Warwickshire.. The firm designed an extension to a Medieval manor house in Tysoe, Warwickshire in 1932; and designed "Eastcliffe", a house at Bembridge on the Isle of Wight in c.1934.  The latter house is discussed in Modern Small Country Houses, edited by Roger Smithells (London: Country Life, 1936 pp. 30-33).
