Bradshaw, Gass & Hope 1902 - ?

Bradshaw, Gass & Hope [in 1913 renamed Bradshaw Gass & Hope] originated as Bradshaw & Gass and was an architectural partnership formed by Jonas James Bradshaw (1837-1912) and John Bradshaw Gass (1855-1939) in Bolton, Lancashire in 1881. Arthur John Hope (1875-1960) became a partner in the practice in 1902 when the name was changed to Bradshaw, Gass & Hope. The practice gained a reputation for the design of municipal buildings.  Between 1928 and 1939 they designed seven town halls and extended Bolton Town Hall.

The firm currently [2024] practises under the name Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP and as BGH.
