Buckland & Haywood [also known as Herbert T. Buckland & William Haywood] originated as H.T. Buckland & E. Haywood-Farmer [also known as Buckland & Haywood-Farmer] an architectural partnership formed in Birmingham, England,in 1899 by Herbert Tudor Buckland (1869-1951) and Edward Haywood-Farmer (1871-1917). William Hayward (1877-1957) joined the partnership in 1914 and following the death of Edward Haywood-Farmer in 1917, the practice was renamed Herbert T. Buckland & William Haywood (Buckland & Haywood).
Architectural projects by Buckland & Haywood included factories, office extension, power house, canteens, lodges and centrances for Kynoch Ltd., at Witton (1915); chemical factory for Kynoch's at Arklow, Ireland; Hannen Hill, near Bewdley (1922); a manufacturing block for Cadbury Bros. in Bourneville (1922); alterations, cottages and gardens at Eazbo, Hampton-in-Arden; and various war memorials.
