Crawford & Veitch

Crawford & Veitch [also known as Andrew Rennie Crawford & Veitch] was an architectural partnership formed in Glasgow, Scotland in c.1903 by Andrew Rennie Crawford )1874-1933) and his brother-on-law David Veitch (1875-?).

Architectural projects by the firm included Kennyhill Bakery in Glasgow (1904); workshop for J McCrindle in Glasgow (1904); tenement buildings at Parkhead Cross in Glasgow (1905); and the Parish Council Chambers in Cathcart, Glasgow (1907).

In 1904 they submitted an unsuccessful entry in a competition to design the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. Their designs are illustrated in British Competitions in Architecture vol. 1, no. 5, September 1905 (pp. 38-39). The partnership was probably dissolved in 1910 as Veitch emigrated to Canada that year
